Q: Why would I want a Slip-On pad?
A: These are ideal for fine or collectible guns with a metal butt plate where mounting a new pad would ruin the value. They are also an easy way to temporarily increase the length of pull. They could be used during the summer, when light clothes are worn, and then removed for winter months, when heavy clothes shorten the length of pull needed.
